Welcome.

Fire & Butterflies began as a simple idea and quietly became something much larger.

It is a place where we gather to explore resilience, wonder, love, loss, courage, laughter, and the remarkable ways we continue to grow throughout our lives.

Some days we’ll meet in the garden and notice the beauty that was there all along.

Other days we’ll gather by the fire and talk honestly about grief, change, or beginning again.

You’ll meet Rosie, my self-appointed Director of Guest Services, whose job description includes reminding us to pause, breathe, and appreciate life’s simple moments.

You’ll find stories from everyday life, memories that still matter, travels that changed me, and reflections that remind us hope often arrives quietly.

My books are part of this journey, but Fire & Butterflies is larger than any one story. It is the place where they all begin.

More than anything, Fire & Butterflies is an invitation.

An invitation to pause.

To wonder.
