Last Blog of the Year

As the year comes to a close, I’m resisting the urge to summarize it neatly. This hasn’t been a year that fits into clean conclusions. It’s been a year of reworking, replanning, and re-seeing — and, at times, being forced to stop right in the middle of that process.

The holidays are almost here, and I know they carry different weights for each of us. Joy and memory. Absence and tenderness. Sometimes all of it at once. I’m not trying to prescribe how this season should feel. I’m simply allowing it to be what it is.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be quieter. Not gone — just resting, listening, and letting things settle. Some of the most important shifts don’t announce themselves right away. They need space before they can take form.

January is already beginning to show itself, not as a dramatic restart, but as a continuation — clearer, steadier, and more intentional. The work ahead has been shaped by survival, truth, and patience, and it’s ready to move forward without being rushed.

What’s coming next lives under Fire and Butterflies — not as a restart, but as a continuation with more intention and strength. Fire power is waiting in the wings.

For now, I’m letting the year close gently. Letting the holidays be what they are. And carrying forward the work with care, honesty, and a fire that knows how to burn steadily.

I’ll see you in January and remember I can be found here too: http://linktr.ee/carole869

With fire and grace.
